Patrick Michael Harris, 66, of Reynoldsville, Pa., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, while a resident of Mountain Laurel Health Care and Rehab in Clearfield, Pa., following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia. He was born on May 6, 1957, to the late John William and Anna Mae Smith Harris in Pittsburgh. Patrick married the love of his life, Anita Jane Evans, on March 8, 1980, in Belle Vernon; Anita survives him. He was a hard worker and worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. Patrick was a very active person who loved the outdoors. In his younger years he rode motorcycles, but continued riding four wheelers throughout his life. He also enjoyed getting outside for some hunting and fishing. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and followed the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins throughout their seasons. Above all else, Patrick loved his family and friends and took every opportunity to be with them. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his wife, Patrick is survived by four children, Jacob M. (Melissa) Harris, Sarah M. (Michael) Heffner, Samantha L. Harris and Jenna M. (Jay) Gafford; and eight grandchildren, Jacob Harris, Briana Harris, Lyza Hyde, Parker Heffner, Easton Heffner, Jameson Gafford, Emerson Gafford and Benson Gafford; two sisters, Kathy and Audrey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in passing by one brother, Andrew Harris; and his beloved dog, Bella. Services will be held privately for the family and have been entrusted to Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
