Mary Louise Burby Reda – Round Rock, Texas

Mary Louise Burby Reda, 80, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on Aug. 1, 2023. She was born on July 13, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to William and Dolna Burby. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph (a 1961 graduate of Monessen High School); her children, Andrea Burger, Renee Pacunas, Joseph Reda III and Anthony Reda; her grandchildren, Sophia Rodriguez, Isabella Burger, Vincenzo Pacunas, Camella Pacunas, Joseph Reda IV and Gianna Reda; and her great-granddaughter, Ivy Rose Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her father, William Burby; her mother, Dolna Burby; her brother, William Burby; her sister, Barbara Schurman; and her in-laws, Joseph and Margaret Reda of Monessen. In honor of Mary Lou, the “Reda Family Cookbook” at the Monessen Public Library, has been dedicated by her cousins, Bernadette Naccarato, Anita Reda, Shelly Bedsworth-McManus, Connie Francia and Frank Hoosac.
