He also enjoyed golfing, cooking, especially smoking meats and sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife, Laura Bennett Mullen of Lexington, S.C.; stepson, Matthew Storey (Ashleigh) of Lexington, S.C.; two very special granddaughters, Madison and Claire Storey; sisters, Kathleen Turney of Monongahela and Luanne Hyslop (Duncan) of Donora; brother, Pete Mullen (Sharle) of Belle Vernon; brother-in-law, Paul Bennett (Daryl) of Salem, Mass.; nephew, Calum Hyslop; nieces, Kaylee Gmutza (Brian), Cassandra Solomon (Richard) and Meagan Hyslop; great-nephew, Branden Gmutza and great-niece, Maddie Solomon. He is also survived by several other family members and dear friends who are considered family. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis K. Mullen; and his brother-in-law, David R. Turney. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services are private and arrangements are entrusted to WOODRIDGE FUNERAL HOME, Lexington S.C. A celebration of life will occur at a later date in both South Carolina and Pennsylvania.
