Car crashes into Charleroi home

Nobody was injured in the Sunday afternoon accident, but part of the house was severely damaged.

A car crashed into a house in the area of Eighth Street and Prospect Avenue in Charleroi around 2 p.m. Sunday.

There were no injuries, according to a Facebook post from the Charleroi Fire Department, and firefighters worked to stabilize the structure and secure the utilities.

A cause for the crash was not announced.
