Fire strikes vacant Fallowfield Township building

Fallowfield Fire Company responded to a fire at a vacant nursing home at 7:50 p.m. Saturday along the 1000 block of Fourth Street Extension. Crews were on the scene for several hours. Fire departments from Lock 4, Bentleyville, North Belle Vernon, Charleroi and Carroll Township were also at the scene, along with Rostraver West Newton EMS. Jenn Codeluppi / Mon Valley Independent
