Barbara Ann Truffa, 66, of Charleroi, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital. She was born June 24, 1957, in New Eagle, daughter of the late Ernest and Norma June Anders Truffa. Barb was a 1975 graduate of Monongahela High School and a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish. For 43 years, she was employed as an EKG technician at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She enjoyed going to estate sales, farmer’s markets and festivals. Barb loved shopping and camping. She was loved by everyone and will be truly missed. Survivors include Jack Johnson with whom she shared the past 46 years; two sons, Jack “Patrick” (Erica) Johnson and  Zebadiah (Breana) Johnson, all of Monongahela; daughter, Valerie (Jason) Catalfu of Van Voorhis; three grandchildren, Karleigh, Declyn and Sylvia Johnson; four siblings, Colleen (Chris) Spahr of Monongahela, Rosemary (Sam) Kerlin of Perryopolis, Lisa Truffa of Monongahela and Ernie (Debbie) Truffa of Monongahela; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela.
