Charleroi firefighters rescue kitten from storm drain

At around 8 p.m. Tuesday, the Charleroi Fire Department responded to an incident involving a small kitten stuck 5 to 6 feet down in a storm drain. The rescue crew used the department’s sewer camera to locate the kitten, made a small homemade snare to grab it and pulled it to safety. Crews cleaned the kitten, found a crate for it and gave it to an animal rescue. Charleroi Fire Department on Facebook
