Serra, Frazier grab top two seeds in 1A volleyball bracket

The WPIAL released the brackets for the 2023 volleyball championships Friday, and there are a handful of Valley schools making appearances in the tournaments — some for the first time in a long time. Two of the most common denominators in Class 1A are back in the same spots they were last year. Serra Catholic (16-0) finds itself as the No. 1 overall seed again. The Eagles were the runner-up last season after falling to Frazier in the championship game at Robert Morris University.
