Jackie Ann Ellenberger Vitali – Charleroi

Jackie Ann Ellenberger Vitali, 71, of Charleroi passed away on July 6, 2023. Born on Sept. 15, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Ellenberger. She was a graduate of Charleroi High School, Class of 1969, and had worked as a school guard for the district. She loved the school children and was a past PTA president and band booster. She was a die-hard Charleroi Cougar, born and raised. She was also a huge fan of the Black & Gold, always watching the Pirates, Penguins and Steelers. Jackie is survived by her daughter, Melissa Vitali of Speers; sister, Sandy (Mark) Reingruber of Florida; niece, Shawna Carmella and her daughter Lola of the state of California; and her baby dog, Henry. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Frank H. Vitali; and son, Frank J. Vitali. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of services on Tuesday, July 11, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harvest Bounty Program, checks payable to CASDEF, P.O. Box 382, Charleroi, PA 15022 with a memo “Harvest Bounty.” Online condolences may be sent to www.spallinofuneralhome.com.
