Irene Pocratsky – Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Finleyville

Irene Pocratsky, 97, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Finleyville, died Tuesday June 27, 2023. She was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Hostetter, Pa., daughter of the late John and Catherine Csokirda Rebi. Irene was a homemaker and former member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Monongahela. Surviving is her daughter; Linda (Mark) Reeves of Knoxville, Tenn.; one grandson; David Reeves (fiancée, Maggie Bill) of Nashville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents, are her husband, Stanley Pocratsky and six siblings, Elizabeth, Anne, Katherine, Mary, Joseph and Annie. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME INC., David P. Kegel, supervisor 3560 Washington Ave., Finleyville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela. Private interment will be held in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
