Reading activity turns Charleroi school into hospital

The fourth-grade wing of Charleroi Elementary Center was transformed into a hospital on Friday. Fourth-grade reading teachers Tadem Winnett, Shaun Rice and Christine Gialames partnered for the reading exercise, called “Character Autopsy,” to offer students a unique learning opportunity that had them work as medical professionals for fictional characters.
