Monessen: 4 council candidates seek peace, progress

In the race for Monessen City Council, there are four men running for two open seats.
All are Democrats, so the race could be decided in Tuesday’s primary, barring a write-in campaign in November.
Both incumbents, Gil Coles and Tony Orzechowski, are running for re-election. John Scott Nestor, a former councilman, and Jim Earl are challenging for the open seats.
