Lois Tiernan – Roscoe

Lois Tiernan, 84, of Roscoe, died on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at Premier Washington Health Center. She was born on April 14, 1936, in Daisytown. Lois was retired from the Washington County Courthouse where she worked in cleaning. She was Methodist by faith. Surviving are three children, Allie Leatherwood of Wilmington, N.C., Albert Jr. of Roscoe and Marie (Tom) Russell, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Garrett and Ian Leatherwood, of Wilmington, N.C., April (David) Russell Duran, Thomas Lee Russell, Justin (Jeanette) Russell, Brandon (Brooke) Russell and Travis (Rebecca) Russell, all of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Luke, Dylan, Justin, Joshua, Marshall, Charlotte, Joslyn and Keegan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Tiernan Sr. on Sept. 6, 2011. Funeral services and interment are private. Online condolences may be expressed at www.melenyzer.com.
