Anna E. Bodnar Denne, 95, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Sept. 4, 2020, at St. Anne Home, Greensburg. Born in Duquesne on Sept. 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Mary Kalinak Bodnar. She was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish-St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak and a former member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne, where she was the former past president and treasurer of their Confraternity of Christian Mothers & Guild, a past money counter and church volunteer. She was also a past volunteer at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, past volunteer at St. Joseph Library and was an avid reader. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence P. “Gunner” Denne; mother of Mary Ann (Charles) Vincenzini of White Oak, Patricia (Paul) Felentzer of North Huntingdon and Ronald (Carol) Denne of West Mifflin; grandmother of Jason Felentzer, Brian Felentzer, Theresa (Brian) Evans, Michelle (Tim) Taylor, Amy (Brian) Hartz, Eric (Ashley) Denne, Kristin (John) Tallent, Lindsey (Josh) McCullough and the late Justin Denne; great- grandmother of Nathan and Elizabeth Hartz, Matthew and Zachary Taylor, Noah and Mason Felentzer, Katelyn and Madelyn Evans, Mia and Madison Denne and Kara Tallent. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Mary Madaras, Thomas Pollak, Steve Bodnar, Nicholas Bodnar, John Bodnar and Andrew Bodnar. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Angela Merici Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020, with the Rev. Kevin Dominik officiating, assisted by Deacon Dale DiSantos. Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Mifflin. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.
