A Prosperity man is being held without bond at the Washington County Prison in connection with an April attack on a former member of the Pagans Motorcycle Club at the Slovak Club in Charleroi.
Michael Thomas Barringer, 50, was ordered held for trial Monday by Magisterial District Judge Robert Redlinger.
He is charged with four counts of witness intimidation, four counts of offering a bribe to a witness or informant, one count of criminal conspiracy to commit homicide, one count of criminal solicitation for criminal homicide and one count of criminal conspiracy to engage in aggravated assault. Four counts of obstructing the administration of law were dismissed.
The charges stem from the April 18 beating of Troy Harris. Seven other men, allegedly members of the Pagans Motorcycle Club, have been charged in connection with the incident, which was captured on surveillance video at the club, and are being held without bond at various prisons. Some have filed appeals of the bond denial.
