PA Coach Lines claims the Elizabeth Forward School District owes the company $1.1 million for past services and it contends there is no contract with EF for the 2019-20 school year, despite the district’s claims.
On Thursday, EF Superintendent Dr. Todd Keruskin alerted parents that the district filed a suit in Allegheny Court because PA Coach was in breach of contract and was refusing to bus students when school reopens next week.
On Friday, PA Coach owner David Sunstein fired back and said the district and his company never had a contract to extend services beyond the expiration of the prior contract on June 30, 2019.
Keruskin’s letter to parents alerting them to the problem with student transportation stated that the EF school board approved a new contract with PA Coach in October of 2018.
