Three arrested for thefts from vehicles

Three people who allegedly broke into multiple vehicles and stole items such as laptops, guns, cell phones and loose change have been arrested in Monessen.

There has been a string of thefts from automobiles in the city in recent days, according to Monessen Police Lt. David Yuhasz.

Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Officer Alan Hritz encountered three teens walking down Rosecrest Avenue, according to Hritz, who said they all had large amounts of loose change in their pock-ets.

Eighteen-year-old Micha Craig was arrested, along with two juveniles, ages 15 and 16.
