Ringgold’s Schoedel came a long way

Sept. 11 was a night to remember for Ringgold senior Eli Schoedel.

Midway through the first half of Ringgold’s Section 3-3A, 6-0 win over visiting Albert Gallatin, Schoedel scored on a penalty kick, recording his sixth goal of the season. The goal boosted Schoedel’s career mark at Ringgold to 57 to give him sole possession of the Ringgold soccer program’s all-time scoring record.
