Community members invited to last Monongahela input session

Participants are encouraged to share their ideas, priorities and concerns in an open and collaborative environment set for Wednesday.

Community members still have an opportunity to help shape the future of Monongahela as the final Community Input Session for the Community Impact Plan approaches.

Over the past several weeks, residents have been actively participating in a series of Community Input Sessions, sharing valuable input on what they hope to see for the community’s future.

These sessions are part of the ongoing development of Monongahela’s Community Impact Plan, an initiative focused on gathering resident feedback to guide future growth, investment and priorities. Input collected through these conversations will directly inform the direction of the plan and help ensure it reflects the needs and vision of the community.

One final Community Input Session will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the cfsbank Business Resource Center, 235 W. Main St., Monongahela.

This session represents the last opportunity for residents, business owners and community stakeholders to share their perspectives before the plan moves into its next phase.

Organized by the Leadership Development Initiative, the sessions are designed to create space for meaningful conversation around key topics that impact Monongahela.

Participants are encouraged to share their ideas, priorities, and concerns in an open and collaborative environment.

“Community input is critical to this process,” organizers stated. “We’ve already heard great ideas and thoughtful feedback, and this final session is an important opportunity for additional voices to be part of the plan. The more perspectives we gather, the stronger and more representative the final outcome will be.”

Due to the interactive nature of the session, space is limited, and participants are encouraged to register in advance using the QR codes available on the Mon Valley Alliance Facebook page.

Those unable to attend are still encouraged to share their input by contacting organizers at ldi33cip@gmail.com.

The Community Impact Plan aims to reflect the voices and priorities of Monongahela residents, ensuring that future initiatives align with what the community wants to see moving forward.
