BVA’s cheerleading team and Frazier’s junior prom will benefit from the promotion.

The new Jersey Mike’s in Rostraver Township will host fundraisers for two local school district organizations during its grand opening next week.

Franchise owner Henry Gallo plans to host a grand opening and fundraiser from Oct. 15-19 to support the Belle Vernon Area High School cheerleading team and Frazier High School junior prom.

The new location will open at 116 Pricedale Road and will be the newest addition to the Shoppes at Rostraver plaza. Jersey Mike’s is located next to a Wingstop that was added to the shopping center earlier this year.

According to a Jersey Mike’s statement, customers who receive a special fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort before the opening can make a minimum $3 contribution to the Belle Vernon Area High School Cheerleading Team and the Frazier High School Junior Prom in exchange for a regular sub.

Customers must have a coupon to be able to donate.

Customers can place orders instore or for pickup through the website or the Jersey Mike’s app. Curbside pickup is also available for orders placed in the app.

“Jersey Mike’s believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same,” the company said in a statement. “Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations have raised more than $175 million for local charities. In 2025, the company’s 15th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised $30 million for more than 200 local charities.”

The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. The Rostraver location can be contacted directly at 724-798-0035.

Jersey Mike’s is mainly known for its cold and hot subs and has more than 4,000 locations across the country.

Its notable sandwiches range from a classic Philly cheesesteak to a BLT. The shop also offers small pastries such as cookies, brownies and snickerdoodles. A complete menu can be found online at www. jerseymikes.com/menu.

The Jersey Mike’s Rostraver location will be one of the only ones in the Mon Valley. Some of the closest locations are near the city of Pittsburgh and North Huntingdon.

The new location is hiring, and anyone wanting to apply can go to https://www.jerseymikes.com/careers.
