Elizabeth Township cemetery chosen as Earth Day project

Dravo Cemetery in Elizabeth Township was the Earth Day Project ’25 for members of the Mon Yough Trail Council and Elizabeth Township Historical Society. Volunteers cleared grounds around the monuments of the church and cemetery, which was established in 1824. The church was abandoned when sparks from passing trains twice set fire to the building and destroyed it.
