2 West Mifflin police department members honored

They apprehended an accused rapist found in the borough in February.

At Tuesday’s West Mifflin council meeting, members of the borough’s police department were honored for their service during an incident in February. Dispatcher Jennifer Cheslock and Officer Tyler Scruggs helped locate and apprehend an accused rapist wanted in multiple felonies out of the state of Washington, according to police chief Gregory McCulloch.
