Shirley A. Kurowsky Moore – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Shirley A. Kurowsky Moore, 89, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Satur day, Jan. 11, 2025, at Jefferson Hosp ital. She was born March 31, 1935, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Margaret Valko Kurowsky. Shirley was a graduate of Charleroi High School and worked in sales at JoAnne Fashions in Southland Shopping Center until her retirement. She was a member of the Charleroi VFW and the American Legion. Shirley enjoyed reading, cooking and shopping in her free time. She is survived by two sons, Mark J. Hollis of Charleroi and Martin C. (Janet) Hollis of Monessen; a daughter, Debra Lilly of Monongahela; one brother, Robert (Anita) Jewell of Dunkirk, Ind.; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moore, who died in 2013; and two sons, David and John Hollis.
