Marion Orlando Newman, 79, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Nov. 12, 2023. Born in North Charleroi on Aug. 31, 1944, Marion was the son of the late Howard and Sue Yansch Newman. Marion was a member of Saint Dominic’s Men’s Club, an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching his daily TV programs. He loved to cook, especially for his friends and family, who will miss him dearly. Surviving to cherish Marion’s memory are his son, Nick Newman; son, Thomas L. Newman; his daughter, Bertie Lomax; his three granddaughters, Dakota Newman, Nikki Newman and Ashley Kronemer; great-grandson, Courtez Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Newman was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Burgess; and his son-in-law, Malcolm Lomax. Arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
