Harry Allan Henry, 79, formerly of Fallowfield Township, passed away on Sept. 29, 2023. Harry was born on June 2, 1944, to the late William and Anna Lawrence Henry. Following high school, Harry served honorably in the Vietnam War with the rank of Specialist Five. He was a member of VFW Post 927 in Washington, Pa., was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates, and loved watching Charleroi Area High School sports. He worked for Hartman and Hartman in Eighty Four, Pa., for 36 years. Harry loved spending time with his friends from Roxy’s and Hugo’s. Surviving to cherish Harry’s memory are his son, Dan Henry of Speers; his brothers and sisters, William Henry of Fort Myers, Fla., Irma Fretz of Speers, Dolores Carlson of Charleroi, Edward (Mary Janet) Henry of Speers, Wesley Henry of Monessen, twin sister Jane Leyda of Rostraver, and Shirley Huchber of Monroeville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Henry and Raymond Henry. Harry’s family would like to thank the Rehab Floor at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital for the excellent care that he received.
