Harry Emerson Jones, 72, of Stockdale, died Sunday, July 16, 2023. He was born Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1951, in Brownsville, son of the late John Bruce “Buck” Jones and the late Ruth Ellen Tunney Jones. Harry was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Roscoe American Legion, the Allenport Gun Club and the California Young Men’s Club. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his sister, Doreen Price; brother, Brian Jones; and great-granddaughter, Rosalie Marie Galasso. Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Amy Cover and husband Dan of West Brownsville, and Stacy Jones (Matt Lacotta) of Stockdale. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Courtney Lexie (Nathan Galasso). Friends will be received at MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, for a memorial visitation. Memorial funeral service will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Heather Wakefield officiating.
