Curtis Jack Lessman – Charleroi
Curtis Jack Lessman, 76, of Charleroi, passed away on March 14, 2023. Born on Oct. 8, 1946, he was the son of the late Jack and Mabel Kistler Lessman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and is a member of the American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi. He was retired as a shift manager from U.S. Steel Clairton Works and he enjoyed reading, gardening, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Curtis is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Smith Lessman; son, Jack (Elaine) Lessman of Charleroi; daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Booth of Monongahela; sister, Dorothy (Snooky) Shrum of Warren, Ohio; brothers, Wayne (Donna) Lessman of Carroll Township, Douglas Lessman of Charleroi, and Richard Lessman of Donora; grandchildren, Christine (Frank Porter) Lessman, Curtis Lessman, Tammy Lessman, Danielle Lessman, Eva Lessman, Abigail Lessman and Ashley Litavic; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Jace, Holden, Grayson, Damon, Tamera, Mariah, Ciamara and a baby boy to be born. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Jack Lessman; and daughter, Tammy Ann Lessman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
