Taxes steady in proposed Donora budget

Donora council plans to hold a first vote Thursday on the borough’s 2023 budget. “Here’s the news that everyone wants to hear: There will be no tax increase from the borough next year,” interim borough administrator Warren Cecconi said. The proposed budget for the upcoming year is $2,792,513. Cecconi said it is balanced with estimated borough revenue, with public safety spending at $668,000 and public works spending at $420,000.
