Adolph E. Vasques – Monongahela, formerly of Gallatin

Adolph E. Vasques, 92, of Monongahela, formerly of Gallatin, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 12, 1930, in Gallatin, son of Raimondo and Mary Ferrini Vasques. Adolph was Catholic by faith. He was employed at U.S. Steel Donora Works until its closing and retired from U.S. Steel Christy Park. Adolph had a great passion for music. He loved telling stories, especially about his heritage and travels. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in the mountains. He is survived by two sons, Anthony and wife Ana Vasques of Ohio, and Ricky Vasques of Elizabeth; two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Erica Vasques; sister, Irene Parker of Scottdale; niece, Pam and husband Jon Aigner of Scottdale; good friends, Shelly and husband Larry Goldstein of Bridgeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Vasques. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 29, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at noon with the Deacon Alexander Poroda officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD, 20852.
