Cora Bane Vadella – Elco, formerly of Roscoe

Cora Bane Vadella, 93, of Elco, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. A daughter of the late Elgie and Nellie Sevitsky McCrory, she was born in North Charle- roi on June 27, 1929. Formerly of Roscoe, Cora Bane has been a resident of Elco since 1960. She was a devout member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Roscoe, loved making ceramics, playing euchre with her card club and cooking and baking for her family. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Patrick Vadella; three sons and daughters in-law, Donald Vadella of Elco, Anthony and Sally Vadella of Midlothian, Va., and Thomas and Tammy Vadella of Roscoe; eight grandchildren, Brandon (Sandra) Vadella, Hunter Vadella, Tiffany (Dustin) Vadella-Griffith, Aleshia (Blake) Eiwen, Emerald Vadella, Justin Vadella, Jordon Vadella and his fiancé, Jordan Powell, and Jesse Vadella; eight great-grandchildren, Alaina, Arianna, Grayson, Avianna, Sophia, Lachlan, Elliana and Karsyn, and another one on the way; a brother and sister in-law, Donald and Berna McCrory of Roscoe; a sister, Jackie Donaldson of Stockdale; and a sister in-law, Dorothy McCrory of Roscoe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Vadella; a brother, Richard McCrory; a daughter in-law, Holly (Coulson) Vadella; and a brother in-law, Harold Donaldson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A blessing will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
