Charles G. ‘Bo’ Columbine – Speers

Charles G. “Bo” Columbine, 85, of Speers, passed away peacefully in his home on April 11, 2022. The son of the late Charles C. and Erma Bioux Columbine, Charles was born in Charleroi on Sept. 13, 1936. Following high school, Charles served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. Charles was a member of Calvary Bible Church in North Charleroi, where he had many friends who were like family to him. He enjoyed spending his retirement years gardening, traveling and spending time with his family. Surviving to cherish Charles’ memory are his nephews, David (Jenny) Kucherawy of Washington, Pa., Keith (Elaine) Kucherawy of Cecil Township and Chris (Tessie) Kucherawy of Upper St. Clair; nieces, Laurie (Thomas) Trettel of Washington, Pa., and Karen (Tony) Consales of Greensburg; nephews, Norman (Linda M.) Tuccelli of West Newton, Robert A. (Linda K.) Tuccelli of North Huntingdon Township, and Mark S. (Barbara J.) Tuccelli of Greensburg; and niece, Jodi A. Murphy of Bridgeville, Pa. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sisters, Erma Tuccelli and Charmaine Kucherawy. Friends and family will be received from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. (formerly Schrock- Hogan Funeral Home), 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022.
