Martin F. Turkovich, 74, of Monessen, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. He was born on April 9, 1947, son of the late Martin Turkovich and the late Margaret Calvano Turkovich. In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by a son, Justin Turkovich. Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Michelle Canestrale Turkovich; a son, Adam Turkovich of the state of Washington; two sisters, Madlynn Fedrick of Carroll Township and Margaret Turkovich of Donora; a brother, Joseph (John Breznican) Turkovich of Clairton; two nephews, Wayne Fedrick of North Charleroi and David (Lisa) Fedrick of Rostraver Township; and a great-niece, Chelsea. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900. Private services and interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, with full military rites accorded, will be held at the convenience of Martin’s family.
