Henry J. Baranowski, 96, of Monessen, passed on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, in UPMC Shadyside. Born in Pittsburgh on May 28, 1925, he was the son of the late Edward and Helen Generowski Baranowski. Henry retired as a carpenter working for various contractors. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Sparacino Baranowski; two brothers, Leonard and Robert; and a sister, Geneve Kozlowski. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane Piper of Bethel Park and Donna and Joe Gerace of Sewell N.J.; four grandchildren, Bradley and Jack Piper, Christian (Diana) Gerace and Gina (Ryan) Brown; three great-grandchildren, Gracie Brown and Henry and Marisa Gracie; one brother, Bernard Baranowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were held with entombment following in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be announced and held at a later date. The ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Blvd and Marion Ave., Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com., was entrusted with the arrangements.
