Gloria Olynick – Charleroi

Gloria Olynick, 93, of Charleroi, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at Rolling Meadows, Waynesburg. Born in North Charleroi on June 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schwer. Gloria was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Charleroi and was retired from the former Millers Store in Charleroi. Gloria is survived by her caregivers and close friends, Mark and Betty Mazanetz of Charleroi, Sarah (Dennis) Bussell of Ohio, Susan Mazanetz of Charleroi and Carol Stotka of Bentleyville. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Olynick; and her brother, Charles Schwer. Visitation will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Charleroi site. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
