Charles W. Moore Jr., 66, of North Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in his home surrounded by friends and family. A son of the late Charles W. and Jennie Wisnieski Moore, he was born in North Charleroi on March 23, 1954. A resident of Charleroi for the past 25 years, Charles was a member of the Russian Club in Charleroi. He had been employed as a manager at the North Belle Vernon Sunoco for many years, retiring in 2019, and had been employed for a year at Magna Service Agency in the oil and gas industry. Charles loved to hunt, fish and camp with his wife at Prince Gallitzen State Park. He also enjoyed their “date nights.”  He is survived his wife and best friend of 43 years, Barbara West Moore; two daughters and sons-in-law, Erika and Matthew Urban of South Park, and Lauren and Justin Pass of North Versailles; a son and daughter in-law, Charles R. and Alaina Moore of Uniontown; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Urban and Tyler Urban and twin girls on the way; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Steven Saniga of Ligioner, Jennie and John Young of Belle Vernon, and Rose and Bruce Falise of Greensburg; many caring nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Diamond, his husky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Gillock, in 2020. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. Face masks are required in the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Jason Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
