Ronald C. Allabach – Monongahela

Ronald C. Allabach, 78, of Monongahela, died Monday, June 22, 2020, in his home. Born Dec. 22, 1940, in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of the late Robert and Florence Pivarnik Allabach. After his graduation from high school, Ron served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as a salt truck driver and equipment operator. He enjoyed playing the drums and was an avid model train collector and always chose to live next to railroad tracks so that he could watch the trains pass through daily. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and his cat, Mia. Preceded in death was a brother, Gary Kibler; and a sister, Melinda Kibler. Services will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2 with military honors conducted by the Mon-Valley Honor Guard and Firing Squad.
