Christine Ann Galamb Soonick
Christine Ann Galamb Soonick, 59, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, due to respiratory failure. Born Feb. 14, 1960, she was preceded in death by her father, Michael; mother, Dolores; as well as her husband, John. She is survived by her sister, Bernadette Gordon; brother-in-law, John; niece, Rebecca Sherman and her husband Joe, their children Cheyanne and Joseph; nephews, Michael Innocente and wife Bianka and their children Madeline, Grayson and Breille; Anthony Innocente and wife Lindsey; along wtih many aunts, uncles and cousins. Christine was a kind and loving soul who always had a smile for everyone. She will always be remembered for her love of cats, polka dancing, collection of ink pens, puzzle books and purses. In her most difficult times, she never once complained or spoke of her own personal issues and never wanted anyone to worry. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Special heartfelt thanks to the staff, nurses, doctors, therapists and hospice care at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home during her time there. Your wonderful care and concerns for Chris will always be remembered. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday. A service will follow with Pastor John Custer officiating.
