Dr. Glenda F. Mozer, 68, of Monessen, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019. A daughter of the late Walter Glenn Foster and Dorothy Thayer Foster, she was born in Carlsbad, N.M., on July 7, 1951. She went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in biology, a master’s degree in science with a minor in math and a doctorate in psychology and education in 1982. She taught at Western New Mexico State University, New Mexico State University and the University of Texas at El Paso before joining her husband to form Crystalline Technology. Throughout life she strived to follow the teachings of Jesus and took in several homeless and abused children while raising her own daughter. Surviving many hardships and medical issues, she now sits with God in heaven. Glenda’s husband of 37 years, Ron Mozer, who survives, continues to operate Crystalline Technology, LLC, in Monessen. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Brian Nordman of Donora; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Kris Foster of Petaluma, Calif.; her mother-in-law, Marrilyn Mozer of Alamogordo, N.M.; and her new grandson, Julian Nordman. Services will be at Christian Center Church, 130 Charity Lane, Belle Vernon, and will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, with Pastor Tim Burgan officiating.
