PONY League World Series holds annual Media Day

The PONY World Series returns to Washington with events beginning Aug. 8.

Again, with the support of Dick’s Sporting Goods and numerous other sponsors, the PONY World Series literally brings the world to Washington with games beginning Aug. 9 and running to Aug. 15 at historic Lew Hays PONY Field.

The event kicks off at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in South Strabane Township with the Ansys FanFest.

World Series teams will be on-hand showing off their custom-made uniforms. There will be interactive games with a visit from the Pirate Parrot and members of the Bucco Brigade. Pittsburgh sports-talk station 93.7-The Fan will be doing a live broadcast and the HottDawgz food truck will be on hand with free hot dogs compliments of the Wasington County Tourism Promotion Agency.
