Ronald E. Delbarre – Dunbar

Ronald E. Delbarre, 79, of Dunbar, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 10, 1939, in Washington County, son of Albert Shipley and Erma Wilson Manella. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Ron was a retired car inspector for the Union Railroad. He is survived by four children, son, John E. Delbarre of Frost, Minn., daughter, Cherri Holtz of Rifle, Colo., son, Ronald Delbarre Jr. of Uniontown and son, Thomas Delbarre of Mankato, Minn.; sister, Patty Ewing of Denbo; brother, Marty Manella of Cleveland, Ohio; and sister, Kathy Fulmer of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Vicki Avery. Friends will be received at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, and Thursday, May 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held at Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc. at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Fayette City, with full military honors accorded by Perry VFW Gold Star Post 7023.
