Antoinette L. Young – Charleroi

Antoinette L. Young, 92, of Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on Saturday March 9, 2019. She was born April 17, 1926, in Charleroi, the daughter of Thomas and Bessie Arrigo Parnella. Antoinette was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She retired from the Charleroi branch of PNC Bank where she had a fulfilling career. Antoinette loved to be around her family and friends, many of which lovingly called her “Grandma Toni”. Surviving to cherish Antoinette’s memory are her daughter, Patricia Brickner and husband Gus of North Charleroi; her son, Anthony DiDonato and wife Theresa of Charleroi; and her granddaughter, Briana York and husband Joe of Pittsburgh; along with several loving cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Young. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mary, Mother of the Church, Seventh Street and Washington Ave., Charleroi. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
