Cal’s Ramsey, BVA’s Steeber named Athletes of the Week

Prior to a nonsection loss to Yough Thursday, there weren’t many squads as red hot as the California boys basketball team.
The Trojans had won six games in a row, including a pair of signature victories against Section 2-2A rivals Jeannette and Chartiers-Houston.
California, which sits in second place in the section standings behind Serra Catholic, is 11-4 overall and 6-2 in section play this season.
And the belief and confidence continues to grow by the day.
