Maureen L. Dale – Rostraver Township

Maureen L. Dale, 92, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018.  Born in Ferndale, Wales, United Kingdom, on Nov. 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Gerald and Catherine Murray Laffey. Maureen was a telephone operator and worked for Bell of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver and had been active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of the church. She was also a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by her son, Richard T. Dale; daughter-in-law, Jodie Dale; and grandchildren, Michael Dale, Christina Dale and Jenna Dale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Dale; and sons, William R. Dale Jr. and Shawn D. Dale. There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2109, at the Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Township, with the Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti presiding.
