Mon Valley Alliance awards another round of mini grants

Two Mon Valley organizations are the newest recipients of mini-grants thanks to a local economic development organization.
The Mon Valley Alliance recently awarded two Townto Town mini-grants to Madonna Catholic Regional School in Monongahela and Monessen Revitalization.
The Town to Town mini-grant is a new program of the Alliance’s Community Development Fund, which supports projects from educational institutions and schools, religious organizations, municipal organizations, parks and recreation and other groups that benefit the quality of life in the Mon Valley with primary areas of focus for parks and recreation, arts and culture, children, youth and elderly, health and fitness and community improvement.
The $250 grants are awarded monthly to a different organizations through a rolling application process.
