Area schools feeling the heat

Several Mid-Mon Valley school districts will dismiss classes early today due to the extreme heat in the forecast.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures today and tomorrow are expected to reach 92 degrees and the heat index is forecast to hit 100 degrees in some Valley locations.
