U.S. Steel to hold hiring fair next week
In an effort to accelerate the hiring process, qualified candidates will be able to learn more about career opportunities, meet directly with hiring managers and sit for an interview.

U.S. Steel is recruiting up to 100 people to fill open positions at the Mon Valley Works plants and will hold a hiring fair next week in Duquesne, a spokesperson said.
The hiring event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mon Valley Works Training Hub, 1 S. Linden St., the company said.
Interested job seekers throughout the Mon Valley must register by submitting a completed application. To secure an on-site interview, applicants also must pass a digital assessment.
Candidates must successfully complete both steps to be eligible for an interview on Oct. 14, the company said. The application is available online at
