Blessing of the Animals this Saturday
The First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, 511 Fayette Ave., Rostraver Township, will hold the 11th annual blessing of the animals at 10 a.m. Saturday. Everyone is welcome, and all pets are invited to attend. For the safety of all participants, please ensure that pets are either on a leash or in a carrier/cage. As in years past, donations will be collected for Mon Valley Paws. Donations of pet food and monetary contributions are greatly appreciated and may be dropped off at the church office prior to the event or brought with you on the day of the blessing. Each pet will receive a certificate of blessing to commemorate the occasion. For more information, call 724-929-7616.
