Franklin A. ‘Frank’ Magaritz

CHARLEROI, FORMERLY OF BRADDOCK Franklin A. “Frank” Magaritz, 80, of Charleroi, formerly of Braddock, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Jefferson Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1945, in Braddock, the son of the late Peter and Pearl Magaritz. Frank was a kind-hearted man who could find a solution to any problem. He dedicated many years of service to Westinghouse and Health Consultants. A proud grandfather, Frank brought joy and warmth to his entire family. He had a passion for sports and was especially devoted to baseball, where he found great fulfillment coaching his sons as they grew up. Frank also served his community as a former councilman in Plum Borough. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jo “Todaro” Magaritz; two sons, Frank Magaritz of Sharpsburg and Brian Magaritz (Whitney) of Pittsburgh; two stepsons, Todd Todaro (Gabriella) of Florida and Brad Todaro of Charleroi; one brother, Peter Robert Magaritz (Maureen) of Canonsburg; and five cherished grandchildren, Declan Magaritz, Avery Magaritz, Braeden Todaro, Connor Todaro and Arianna Todaro.
