On July 13,1959, he met the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Linda, and they were later married on July 31, 1961. Upon graduating from California High School in 1960, Frank enlisted in the military and served from 1960 to 1963 as a fireman in the U.S. Air Force at Glasgow AFB in Glasgow, Mont.
