Carolyn J. ‘CJ’ Allen – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Carolyn J. “CJ” Allen, 76, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. She was born in Charleroi on June 28, 1949, a daughter of the late James W. and Mar ion “Dollie” Seiple Greenwood. CJ was a social worker and was a founding member of Rostraver Emergency Services, where she worked as an EMT. She was a member of Webster United Methodist Church, and she appreciated spending time with her Bible Study group. She enjoyed working with stained glass, macrame, arts and crafts, but truly loved spending time with her family, especially being “Gran” to her grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Jan (Chuck) Byers of Rostraver; son, Jedadiah Allen of Rostraver; and grandchildren, Shannon Byers, Abby Byers, Eli Allen, Evie Allen and Emery Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Arley E. (Stimak) Allen.
